Prerequisites: Junior standing and successful completion of three PED major courses Offered: No plans to offer this course again in near future (a new course is being developed) An introduction to principles and techniques of leadership and management in wellness, recreational, and physical-education settings. Students will learn fundamental concepts for program planning, development, implementation, and assessment; board development; community relations, program marketing, and development of a participant base; fiscal management; facilities; equipment; and resource planning, acquisition, and evaluation.
