Prerequisite: ENG 110 or ENG 124 Offered: Typically alternate years (first offered Fall 2009) This course engages in thematic and topical issues of genre at a considerable level of complexity by introducing contemporary literary modes of thinking and analytic methodologies. The course involves substantial student-directed research, which requires students to read and understand secondary literary scholarship as well as develop their awareness of primary literatures.
