Offered: Typically Fall and Spring terms (303P next offered Spring 2009; 303N next offered Fall 2009;303F next offered Fall 2008) An imaginative writing course focusing on either poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction; analysis of literary models; and frequent writing exercises. Conducted as a workshop, with student and instructor criticism of works. Poetry (P), fiction (F), and creative nonfiction (N) writing are offered in rotation. Students may take one or more sections, but an individual focus (P,F, or N) taken as ENG 203 or ENG 303 cannot be repeated for credit. 1 Course Credit
