Through examination of the Massachusetts Department of Education's Common Core of Learning and Curriculum Frameworks documents students will come to understand how the state standards can be used as guidelines in structuring curriculum, researching curriculum development, and how the issues, trends, and innovations of curriculum design can be applied in an effective integrated classroom.
