This course is an introduction to algebra including polynomials, algebraic fractions, first-degree and second-degree equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals, graphing, relations, functions, and systems of linear equations. Students with a ACT Math score of less than 20 will be required to pass this course with a C or better. (This course counts toward the determination of full-time student status, but does not count toward the minimum hours needed for graduation under this catalog.) Co-requisite: MA 091.
