Description: This course is designed to integrate recent leadership ideas and practices with established research findings focusing on the development of leadership qualities in the student. Valuable ideas such as leadership vision, individual courage, ethical and moral issues, leading change, leading a learning organization, the differences between leadership and management, leadership and multiculturalism, a leader's personal capacity for mind, heart and spirit, followership and shaping values and culture are examined. In addition, the direct involvement of the student in the design and development of his/her leadership style is encouraged. Prerequisites: PY241 Credit Hours: 3 CR.HR.
