This course is designed to help students further develop their speaking/listening and writing skills. In addition to the textbook we work with various types of authentic German texts, including a longer narrative and topical newspaper and magazine articles, as well as various types of television programs, including news and entertainment shows. In the process students also expand their reading proficiency and increase their knowledge and understanding of the German-speaking world. Prerequisite: GER 235.
