Description: This course is designed to provide the undergraduate nursing student with a working knowledge of how the concepts of caring, culture and spirituality influence health status and health related behaviors. The focus of the course is to explore these concepts, their meanings and implications, and to utilize the concepts when providing or planning holistic nursing care for diverse clients, families, groups, and communities.
