Description: In this course the student is introduced to the language and conventions of modern French; a language used widely throughout the world and close to home in Maine's neighboring bilingual provinces of Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Making use of class instruction and audio-taped dialogs, students in practice dialog sessions expand their knowledge of the idiom. Prerequisites: Credit Hours: 3 CR.HR.
