Description: This course is the second half of NU 211 and focuses on knowledge and skills that are fundamental to nursing care throughout the lifespan and regardless of disease entity. Using the classroom, lab, and clinical placements, learners will demonstrate competence in the application of the nursing process in the planning and delivery of nursing care. Themes of growth and development, cultural diversity, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking will be threaded throughout. Skills and knowledge learned in this course are foundational to learning throughout the rest of the curriculum. Prerequisites: NU211 Credit Hours: 3 CR.HR.
