Description: This class will provide a variety of field experiences in a community setting. This will provide students practical experience in working with staff, youngsters, parents who are connected to a community youth program (YMCA, YWCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, Municipal Recreation Departments, before and/or after-school programs). Students will achieve competencies in teaching, program design, implementation and evaluation, fund raising, and staff management in a community youth development program and greater awareness of cross cultural representation of students and staff who work and participate in youth development programs. Prerequisites: Credit Hours: 3 CR.HR.
