Description:

The atelier offers composers, performers, choreographers, and other artists the opportunity to collaborate using new technologies. Meeting in the Bates Computer Music Studio, students work together with interactive music and video software to create performances. Work in progress is shown weekly, then performed in public on and off campus. Recommended background for music majors: Music 222 and either 235 or 237. Enrollment limited to 16.
