Designed for students with significant prior experience in Spanish or another Romance language and for highly self-motivated students who wish to learn at a faster pace, the course reviews essential constructions and vocabulary covered in Elementary Spanish 101-102 in one semester. The course emphasizes oral proficiency and the development of reading and writing skills while fostering a cross-cultural understanding of the Spanish-speaking world with authentic texts and media. Not open to students who have received credit for Spanish 101 or 102. Enrollment limited to 22. Normally offered every year. D. George.
