How well has the U.S. political process responded to this potentially catastrophic trend Who are the stakeholders in this debate What do scientists point to as the causes and consequences of global climate change How do the skeptics respond What is the role of innovation in the private sector as individuals and organizations work to address this growing concern Invited speakers and experts provide a real-world context for understanding climate change. Prerequisite(s): Politics 115, 122, 242, Environmental Studies 204, Environmental Studies/Politics 218, or Environmental Studies 225. Enrollment limited to 15. Staff.
