Students will examine and personally develop the foundations of a healthy, efficient technique of singing. Activities to achieve this goal include vocal exercises practiced in and out of the classroom, solo singing for one's classmates, lectures and demonstrations by the instructor on vocal technique and the vocal mechanism, and related reading assignments. (Offered every semester. No prerequisite. Studio course.) 200 LEVEL COURSES
