Problems in representation and pictorial structure. The student learns about painting by concentrated study of the works of painters from the past and present and by painting from nature. Prerequisite(s): any drawing course including Art and Visual Culture 205A, 212A, 213A, 312A, or 366A. Not open to students who have received credit for Art and Visual Culture 214.
