Examination of past, present and future struggles for identity and cultural perspective in South America, with a focus on the Southern Cone and Andes regions. Explores cultural artifacts such as music, visual arts, performance arts, literature, popular culture and folklore in South America from the pre-Columbian period to the twenty-first century.
