Prerequisites: Education 201, 202, junior standing with a 2.7 cumulative GPA and permission of the Education Department. Develops a deeper awareness of the complexities in education and policy issues. Pairs students with mentors who work with education policy issues. Includes interpretation and evaluation of current educational policy issues faced by administrators and legislators who work on behalf of children and youth. This course is optional, not a requirement for certification. Offered on a credit/no credit basis. Staff.
