A systematic study of propositional (sentential) logic and predicate (quantificational) logic through identity with the aim of learning the formal methods of distinguishing correct from incorrect reasoning and application of these methods to various areas of inquiry. This course will increase the student's ability to reason rigorously. Prerequisite: completion of any required non-degree credit courses. (3 Credits)
