Usually offered fall and spring semesters, respectively. Introduction to theory and practice of research methodology and evaluation of literature in biomedical sciences. Topics include protocol development, study designs, sampling techniques, data collection, measurement and analysis, ethical and regulatory considerations as well as techniques for evaluating and summarizing medical literature. Prerequisite: PHCY 4600 and enrollment in College of Pharmacy for two years. PHCY 4310 is a prerequisite to PHCY 4320. ( 1-1)
