An introduction to philosophy using the fundamental questions of philosophy as well as some of the most outstanding contributions to their solutions, with a general consideration of the nature, methods, and cultural impact of philosophy. This course will develop the student's capacity for critical reading, writing, and thinking. Prerequisite: completion of any required non-degree credit courses. (3 Credits) THE FOLLOWING COURSES MAY BE TAKEN AS EITHER INTRODUCTORY COURSES OR AS UPPER LEVEL COURSES.
