Independent work by students under the guidance of a faculty member to be presented orally and in writing to student majors and faculty. Meets once per week. Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or higher in all MATH or STAT required courses at the 2000-level and junior or senior status. 4511 is prerequisite to 4521. ( 1-1)
