Social, economic and political influences are examined, tracing the evolution of the American military; the development of a global military strategy, imprint of the social fabric of the nation on the military as the United States evolved into a world power. Additionally, the student will examine the effects of institutions on organization structures. Technology and the practice of warfare is emphasized. Prerequisites: Credit Hours: 3 CR.HR.
