Explores physical, cognitive, social and emotional development across life span. HDP 124 devoted to development through preschool. HDP 126 focuses on development from middle childhood through late adulthood. Trains in observing, recording and interpreting young children's behavior and in collecting and analyzing clinical interview data. Designed for transfer students. Students may be exempted from all or part of this course by passing a written examination or through articulation agreement. Completion or exemption from HDP 124 is required for entry into HDP 126.
