Provides opportunities to assume responsibility for preparation of curriculum in inclusive preschool or kindergarten classrooms with children and families from diverse backgrounds, using theories of child development and culturally responsive, Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Seminar topics include: ethical responsibilities, anti-bias practices, promotion of social competence, management, and partnerships with families. (200 hours) May be taken as either the first or second early childhood practicum.
