Extends students' knowledge of creating learning environments that foster children's development through collaborative play. Emphasizes interactive teaching, formal and informal assessment, and individualized learning goals developed using IFSPs and IEPs. Concentrates on interprofessional collaboration with specialists from education, health, and social service perspectives and partnerships with families from diverse backgrounds. Prerequisites: EDP 427/437, 436, and EDU 328. Taken concurrently with EDP 457.
