A thematic and conceptual inquiry into some of the most important religious and philosophical traditions within Buddhism. Attention given to the major schools of Buddhist thought, as well as topical inquiries into issues regarding women in Buddhism, meditation practices, Buddhist art and architecture and the influence of Buddhism on contemporary Western religious pluralism.
