Description:
-
A study of questions emerging from the philosophical analysis of religious thought. Both religious and antireligious thinkers will be considered on fundamental issues: the existence of God, the status of revelation and faith, the problems of conflicting truth claims of different religions, immortality and human destiny. Special attention will be given to contemporary challenges to traditional, patriarchal theology. (Jeffrey R. Timm)
