Examines elementary history and social science content as presented in the Massachusetts History and Social Science Curriculum Frameworks. Course includes key concepts, epistemology, pedagogy, and assessment. Emphasizes understanding socio-cultural contexts and multicultural, anti-bias, and anti-racist teaching. Prerequisites: EDU 306, EDU 330 & EDU 337. Corequisites: EDU 316, and EDP 317. the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure requirements. Required for all undergraduate education students.
