Topics covered in this course include vectors and matrices, systems of linear equations, vector spaces, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and transformations. Applications in many fields are discussed. The computer is used at the discretion of the instructor. TI-86 calculator is required. Offered in the spring semester. 3 cr.
