Prerequisite: MAN 101. The course examines individual, interpersonal, and group behavior in organizations. Coverage includes OB concepts as they influence effective management practice and leadership. Course content is designed to facilitate the attainment of key learning outcomes focused on the understanding and recognition of: the role that personality and perception play in influencing behavior in organizations; concepts associated with effective work design; theories and concepts of decision-making and problem solving; theories and concepts of motivation; theories and concepts of leadership; and theories and concepts from the behavioral sciences in developing strategies for effective teamwork and other organizational processes. 3 cr.
