Prerequisite: IT 150 and IT 175, or permission of instructor. This course provides students with the foundations for working with current operating systems. Students learn to make effective use of operating systems' powerful command-line interface. They also learn how to create scripts to automate redundant tasks and scripts to act as glue between otherwise independent applications. 3 cr.
