Prerequisite: MATH 100 or higher. This is an introduction to the descriptive and inferential techniques for presenting, analyzing, and interpreting data gathered in the social sciences. Topics include correlation and regression, sampling and sampling distributions, hypothesis testing, and tests of significance, including t tests, ANOVA, effect size, and SPSS. 3 cr.
