Prerequisite: MK 200 and BIS 220. This is a study of physical distribution functions and their relationships within an organization. Case studies and readings are utilized to study elements of distribution other than transportation: inventory control, warehousing and distribution centers, customer service, materials handling, industrial packaging, and international distribution. A quantitative analysis approach is emphasized. 3 cr. Laboratory fee $50.
