Prerequisite: ART 105. This is a rigorous course that enables students to develop their personal vision further, and to explore the medium of drawing more deeply, based on the foundation acquired in ART 105. Emphasis is on expanding the drawing skills through confrontation with the formal visual problems, using imagination, new ideas, new materials, and new techniques. One goal is to bring out the expressive qualities in each student. 3 cr.
