Description:
This course will explore the ever-present phenomenon of human aggression and how various philosophers have attempted to define its nature. Many authors and texts will be used to study, first, the world-views of philosophy and religion; and second, to provide students with the hopeful prospect of cultivating love as an enduring answer to man's rapacious form of aggression.
