A study of the role painting has played in the history of architecture. Vast numbers of paintings in the past were created with the specific setting and location in mind to complete their meaning. The course includes field trips to view selected examples of mural cycles and other examples of architecturally-oriented painting in the Boston area. Prerequisite: Junior status or above in BSA. Day Course.
