Prerequisite: BIS 220 and BIS 202. This is an exploration of statistical forecasting techniques for business. The major focus is on the development and utilization of forecasting models to assist managers in decision-making. Students develop and explore several computer-based forecasting models. Topics include the businessplanning environment for forecasting, basic concepts of forecasting, time series models, and regression models. 3 cr. Laboratory fee $50.
