Prerequisite: BIS 321. This course has two components. First, it provides an overview of the essentials of electronic commerce. Topics such as internet retailing, EC models and applications, EC strategies, social and legal implications, security threats and payment systems are addressed. Second, this course focuses on online application development modules such as JavaScript for internet applications, XML, MySQL, and Apache. 3 cr.
