Provides an introduction to theories and research on how individuals are influenced by others. Topics include social perception, affiliation and interpersonal attraction, altruism, aggression, stereotyping and prejudice, group dynamics and conflict resolution. The application of social psychological knowledge to current social problems will be discussed. Satisfies General Education Social Science requirement.
