NOT OFFERED IN 2009-10. In this course, students will apply mathematical techniques in economic analysis. Students are expected to have a good knowledge of calculus and will be introduced to topics in linear algebra, differential equations, and static and dynamic optimi-zation. Emphasis will be placed on economic applications including maximization decisions of consumers and producers, comparative statistics, phase diagram analysis of dynamic systems, and basic features of dynamic optimization.
