This course will examine the Hispanic culture within the United States. We will examine how Hispanics have helped shape the United States and how historically some words have developed in our vocabulary, such as Gringo, Latino, Mulato, Chicano. This course will be taught primarily in English. Prerequisite: SPAN 212 or equivalent or permission of instructor. SPED 321. Survey of Exceptionalities.
