A fi eld experience course in wilderness recreation and related land-use issues in Appalachia, to take place during spring break. Students will keep a refl ective journal and write a research paper on a topic directly related to their fi eld experience. Since the specifi c content of the course and the locales visited will vary each time the course is offered, the course may be repeated twice for credit. Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor. This course may not be taken concurrently with APST 203.
