Topics include the historical development of the discipline, the principle mechanisms by which it occurs, tempo and mode of speciation, both biological and geological sources of evidence, and the impact of evolutionary thought on biology and society. Prerequisites: BIOL 232 and 233. BIOL 361 is highly recommended.. (Odd years only.)
