This course focuses on the specific career-related issues of solo and chamber musicians. Topics the guest lecturers and instructors will cover include competitions, audition preparation, artist management, local performance opportunities, publicity, audience communication skills, applying to graduate schools, and teaching. Student projects may include a choice of performance-related project, an independent study project, or a full promo kit (Web-based or hard copy) plus resume and cover letter.
