Description:
Provides preparation in methods for teaching in 6-12 classrooms and serves as a prerequisite to all upper level secondary methods courses. Students will plan, create and evaluate lessons which integrate state standards into lesson goals and objectives. Students will be introduced to Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives as well as learning modalities and the theory of multiple intelligences. A fifteen hour practicum in a nearby school is attached. Prerequisite: ED 100.
