Three Credits Alternate Years: Fall 2009, 2011 Explores the extent to which international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank are able to alter the contours of statehood and state sovereignty and whether such international organizations serve or dominate state actors. Case studies are Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Iraq. Prerequisite: PS 134.
