Three Credits Fall Semester This course provides students with a historical overview of the fundamental concepts, events, and forces which have shaped American businesses. The class will discuss the progression from businesses in the colonial era through our current era of intense global competition. Each stage in this progression will include readings of primary documents and secondary essays, as well as lessons and discussions on the business people and business leaders, companies, and political, economic and social forces prevalent through the time period.
