This course will serve as the "capstone" course for the B.A. in Sacred Music. Studentswill examine many aspects of both traditional and contemporary worship. Special attention will be given to discussion and creation of ways in which to learn from various traditions of worship and ways in which to combine elements from a variety of styles into a cohesive whole, while maintaining theological and aesthetic solidity. Students will examine the use of all of the arts, not just music, into creating meaningful and faithful Christian worship. Topics will include Music, Theatrical Arts, Visual Arts, Movement Arts, and others.
