The focus will be both interdisciplinary and cross-cultural, and will cover some of the most interesting writers of the past 500 years such as Petrach, Basho, Pascal, Goethe, Darwin, C.S. Lewis, Pablo Neruda, Kafka, and Alan Paton. Prerequisite: sophomore standing. (Spring, even)
